2022
The phase three of our campus was officially put into use with approximately 4,000 additional beds. The phase four of our campus construction was commenced in December 2022 to satisfy the accommodation needs of on-campus engineers, experts in the industry, and teachers and staff, improve the quality of campus life, and optimize the teaching and training facilities.
Our University was recognized by MOE as "Innovation and Development Centre for Ideological and Political Work (高校思想政治工作創新發展中心)" and "National Party Building Demonstration Universities (全國黨建工作示範高校培育創建單位)".
2021
Our University has obtained the relevant private school operating permit on April 21, 2021, and transferred to a for-profit private school.
2020
The Group was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on January 16, 2020, with the stock code: 1525. The third phase of school building construction began in September of the same year. It is also the 20th anniversary of our University.
2019
On Novermber, our University successfully passed the review and evaluation of the undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education.
2018
Reveived the certification of ISO 9001 quality management system (ISO 9001質量管理體系認證) by Shanghai Quality System Audit Center (re-certified in 2021).
2017
Our University was added as a master's degree project construction unit (碩士學位授予單位立項建設單位) and successfully passed the acceptance inspection on September 2020.
2015
Our University moved from its previous campus in Kangqiao County to a new campus in Lingang New City area in Pudong New Area, Shanghai.
Our University was certified by the Spiritual Civilization Development Steering Commission as a "National Civilized Unit (全國文明單位) " (re-certified in 2017 and 2020).
2010
The Shanghai Degree Committee issued a document agreeing to add Shanghai Jianqiao University to the list of units authorized to confer bachelor's degrees.
2005
Shanghai Jian Qiao Vocational College (上海建橋職業技術學院) transformed into our University, a higher education institute which is entitled to provide undergraduate education in addition to higher vocational education, and changed its name to Shanghai Jian Qiao University (上海建橋學院).
Our University was awarded "Shanghai Civilized Company (上海市文明單位)" for 9 sessions over the past 18 consecutive years.
2003
Private Shanghai Jian Qiao Vocational College (民辦上海建橋職業技術學院) changed its name to Shanghai Jian Qiao Vocational College (上海建橋職業技術學院).
2000
The predecessor of our University, namely, Private Shanghai Jian Qiao Vocational College (民辦上海建橋職業技術學院), and Shanghai Jian Qiao (Group) Limited were established.
1999
Shanghai Jian Qiao Investment and Development Limited was established.
